Grace for today

Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

Grace for today mission statement

We are called to live a life like Jesus. As Christians, it is our calling to reflect the love of Jesus through our actions and our heart posture. I created the Grace For Today platform to do just that – in a world overwhelmed by darkness, I am striving to shine the light of Jesus wherever I can by sharing what he is doing in and through my life – including all the mess and all the success. Join me as I share what God is teaching me each season and what he places on my heart to write about – fully authentic and fully pointed towards Jesus.

About me

My name is Grace, I am 25 years old and I live in Charlotte, North Carolina. I live a quiet yet fulfilling life in a big city. I work a day job in insurance and come home to my quaint apartment and two energetic cats at night. I have a lovely God fearing fiancee named Ethan that I am so excited to begin building a life with.

I grew up in a small town in Massachusetts and moved to Charlotte on a whim in 2024 after graduating college. At the time I didn’t understand what was pulling me to North Carolina, but looking back now it is so clear what God was calling me to. In these steps of obedience to move my life 800 miles away, God opened my eyes to so many things. My faith grew tremendously from this transition and I found not only my true self but also my future here.

I started this blog because I have always had a passion for writing and God has put it on my heart to use my passion for his glory. I will be authentic in every passage I write, sharing my tears and triumphs. Thank you for joining me in this journey and for listening to what God is doing in my life!
